SMART Business Cards is a rigid plastic credit card type of business card. It comes with an embedded microchip, enabling you to transmit your contact details with just a tap on a smartphone.

Why is the SMART card better than traditional business cards?

Preventing the spread of germs:
With the standard business card, you hand the card over to a client. With the Smart Business card, there is no interaction and the danger of spreading germs especially in view of the COVID regulations.
Avoiding unnecessary waste:

The client takes your card and places it in his drawer and forgets about it whereas with the SMART Business Card your information is captured.
Saving money:

The average business card cost is about R750 for 500 cards = R1.50 per card.
The SMART Card is only R650 and has up to a million scans = R0.0007c per scan (try and buy a million printed business cards today!)
The Keyring is R550 and the Combo (Smart Card and Keyring) is R1000
ONLY ONE:
You only need one company SMART card per representative or employee. If the representative or employee resigns the SMART card can be reprogrammed with the new contact details. The details can be changed in-store at our facilities like a new address, name or phone number.

How does it work?

The SMART Business card has 2 types of methods to get info across to the client's phone: 

  • NFC and

  • QR code


NFC allows you just to tap the card onto the NCF enabled phone.

QR code for the phones that do not have NFC technologies. The QR code works also without an App on most phones and can be scanned by using your camera on the smartphone.

Most new smartphones come standard with NFC technology and QR Code enabled.

The best place for your info to be is on your client's phone. That’s why the Smart Card is the way to go.

Does my phone work?

Check if your smartphone is compatible with your SMART Business Card:

  • Open the "Settings App" on your smartphone device.

  • Go to the search option and type "NFC" 

  • If you see the app showing results, then your smartphone supports NFC technology.

  • Make sure the "NFC" option is enabled.

If there is no "NFC" option:

You have to scan the QR code at the back of your card. If you don't have a QR reader built-in or app, follow the links below to download. By scanning the QR code, the exact same Contact Details / VCard will be displayed.
